By googling it, but it seems that there are not so skilled devs on this device yet... A programmer named "linerty" have cooked some ROMs but i do not know if he may ever go after CM.

From my stand point, an other problem is that devs that work on this device are not in this forum... i have found a Rusian forum, a Spanish and a Chiniese (working over the MIUI version of a850), so you can't easily track the devs. They also do not seem to cooperate each other... They should have publish their work here too.

If you have it, you can flash it (the same way you did with the TWRP)

If you have the img file of the stock recovery... why don't you install the cwm recovery?

I am thinking of installing TWRP but Im having second thoughts because I want to make sure first that I can revert to stock recovery in case there will be a need too. I don't have stock recovery and I don't know where to get one. What I only saw was stock rom for our lenovo a850. Im not sure if it comes with the stock recovery though.

I do not really know if there is a stock recovery...
If your seller has install a recovery it will probably be a Chinize version of CWM...

If you flash the stock rom (and not install an zip from the recovery, like the MIUI rom) you will also flash the recovery. (or remove it, what ever the stock rom has :P)
