I'm still having problem with WiFi turning off by itself and sometimes the only way to turn it back on is to restart the SO.

I installed v3.0 with nano gapps. No issues.

No luck so far. I am coming from Stock KitKat 4.4.2 20b rooted with Kingo Root and installed TWRP 3.0.1 recovery. Running a standard LG G Pad 8.3 V500.
Downloaded latest crDroidAndroid-7.1.2-20170417-v500-v3.0.zip and the latest OpenGapps 7.1 ARM stock (open_gapps-arm-7.1-stock-20170415.zip). Did a wipe (Data, Cache, Dalvik) in TWRP before flashing crDroid followed immediately by Gapps and then reboot. I get to the screen where I am setting up the device and if I select "New device" or "Load from android device" the screen flashes and I'm right back at the beginning again.
After this happened the first time through I tried "Format data" from TWRP before full wipe and repeat the process with the same result. I realize the install says recommended "Bean Gapps" but I just installed Open Gapps 7.1 on my LG G3 V985 phone (Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 install) so I know the file is fine.
Has anybody run into this before and/or does anyone have any recommendations to try fixing this (I guess I'll try the Bean Gapps and see if that works).
Any help appreciated!
I had the same issue both on my tablet V500 and on my phone D855.
The way I managed it was to flash the nano GAppa, boot, configure, reboot to recovery and then flashed the Aroma Installer of GApps in order to be able to install Pixel launcher.
Try it.

That sounds like something is borked. I am getting normal charge times using 2.5. I am also very happy with battery life in 2.5 much better than the stock KK 4.4.2 20b I was running previously. And I think the Nougat UI and overall performance is noticeably better than 4.4.2. Apps run smoother and things like video playback and animation are much smoother.with v2.1 my G Pad charges very slow. I'm getting 5%-100% in 10 hours. That's real slow right? Am I alone with this?
Hope it was fixed in v3.0
Same problem. Thanks for the suggestion BTW. Consuming the battery in everyday use is just fine. I'm on v3.0 now. Will monitor and if this doesn't work, I will have to try flashing back to stock to see how it will go.That sounds like something is borked. I am getting normal charge times using 2.5. Check to see what apps (if any) are draining the battery. You can also replace the battery if you are not afraid to disassemble the tablet for less than $30. If you suspect the battery is toast I think it's worth replacing, especially since the V500 now runs apps great with Nougat OS.

Found the culprit. It's the micro USB charging cable. I used Ampere to measure charging voltage. Used another cable and it charges well. That sounds like something is borked.
