Simply read this

Once you done that, give your phone a clap, and start doing whatever you want to!

Installation:

1. Boot into recovery (either twrp or cwm)
2. Do a nandroid backup
3. Flash the downloaded File
4. Once Flashed Boot into the system
5. Download Gapps 5.x
6. Flash Gapps
7. Reboot and enjoy!:

6. Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
7. Flash ROM
8. Flash Gapps
9. Reboot and enjoy!

No mate jaythenut has never been life Walker 100%. Jay is from England and Life is from Germany. Definitely two different people. Jay couldn't build bugger all but is quite good at plastering
I vaguely remember Jay talking to you on xda asking you to come over to the g3 community on g+

For me it doesn't work either. Doesn't accept correct sim code after flasing second zip. Have to take out simcard to start rom. Wifi is working. After flashing minimal gapps for 5.1 ended in bootloop.
