Is there a way to play google cardboard games on the LG 360 VR (LGR-100)

Hi,

I just got LG 360 VR glasses and I only see a very limited amount of applications which I can use.
But I know google cardboard is available, but why is there no way to play it's games on LG's glasses?

I saw a thread from april 2016 with the same problem, but I am wondering if they found a way in the year that passed?
