Ok so anytime i have weird issues with a custom ROM on lg phones no one else is having i always flash firmware again. Check some of the other threads for twrp flashable versions. Make sure to search thread for which version you need. Nougat, oreo, or pie. Otherwise go to op read about how to take a logcat then join telegram group and share it with the developers. Or skip it all and just get a kernel manager that will do it for you. My favorite is ex kernel manager. This might even with with spectrum root app.

Not sure for aex. Sorry, if you search for the word bootloader it's probably listed here. Otherwise flashing different ones shouldn't hurt things much if you have a twrp backup, mirgate zip, ect to restore with. It certainly shouldn't brick the phone assuming you check md5. Either way lgup can pretty much restore everything but qc 9008 status. Even then if you wanted to take the phone apart and find test point like they did for v20, i would think the firehose for it would work on the g6. Since the two processors and phones are so similar. No promises on that though.

It maybe at this point but probably not. Make sure to do a backup either way.

Well, looks like it isn't the issue since same problem on different PC with a different cable

then it must be the rom. Try a clean wipe then flash the bootloader made for this AEX ROM (not sure if you could use the latest firmware but i use the 20I that OP posted along with the ROM), then the ROM and GApps. Boot it up and if everythings alright then u can go back to TWRP and flash Magisk. Btw theres Carbon ROM android 10 for LG G6 and its like AEX, minimal ROM features so pretty stable.

Where do I get carbon ROM? COULDN'T find it on the home page and don't see a thread for it here.

and the issue only shows up in this ROM? I can only think of Magisk modules that might be the cause of this, or the ROM file is corrupted somehow as downloading directly to phone is not really reliable.

Well as a workaround I selected file transfer from developer options as a default and it worked. Going to get a third cable just in case both cables are dodgy.

Thanks for this ROM, I'm running it for 2 days now without any issues. Feels faster than Havoc 3.6 in my opinion (H870). I only think the AOD is too bright.. is there a way to make it dimmer?

nice Rom, thanks. Works smoother and better than stock and Havoc Rom in my opinion (H870).
But I just had the following problem: I called someone else and haven't heard the other side speaking to me. I had to put on the speaker option.
Any suggestions?

AOD has been fixed in Havoc and MSMExtended. It now uses the secondary low power panel. Hope it comes to AOSP Extended soon????

Anyone got a solution for Netflix?

I can find app in play store, some other ROMs this would not happen. Login is not an issue, get playback in "Coming Soon" section, but not in other sections. Downloaded content doesn't also play.

Other issues I have so far are:-

• Wide mode on selfie camera is not available, rear camera is.
• Even though using adaptive brightness at time screen automatically too bright, have noticed image retention .
• Santander app aware phone is rooted .

I went from stock 9.0 to this ROM.

• Unlocked bootloader.
• Install TWRP 3.3.1.0 (newer versions would not work).
• Wiped system, data, cache, dalvik.
• Installed v7.3 ROM, OpenGapps v10 (full), Magisk v2.4.
