Further to this I would love to answer calls with a button whilst driving as my phone is always plugged in to the stereo aux and its illegal to use your phone whilst driving in the uk unless its hands free. Even better would be just to make it a 'tasker' task then we can make the buttons do what...

sorry for double post, at least I know its only me now, it works if I download modules straight from the repo so I'm not too fussed if the xposed installer app doesn't work. Thanks again PS. you may want to change your signiture, it says JB 4.4.4 not KK at the moment

trust me you don't know what you're missing out on, all the customization of a custom rom whilst sticking with stock. gravity box module is a must. pity I can't get it working on this version at the moment.

my apologies, let me rephrase it to make it slightly more applicable, has anyone managed to get xposed working after they have rooted using THIS method on THIS version of the stock firmware, it would only take 2 seconds to check if it works but if you still think this question doesn't belong...
