Just got the phone on Thursday and still testing. But anecdotally it seems to drain at about half the speed as the S20 Plus. The longevity is truly incredible. As crazy as this sounds, the battery drain is roughly comparable to the Moto G Power.
This phone is a fail in the US in so many ways. How can Motorola launch a phone here without bands 12, 17, or 71? Reception will be so limited outside of major cities and in buildings.
I understand this might be a dumb question, but why is WiFi calling so important? I would have thought most people would use Hangouts, Zoom, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or Duo. Any of those effectively provide WiFi calling.
I get about 9-10 hours of SOT. YMMV, of course, but for me the battery life on the V60 is significantly better than the S10+ (6-7 hours), particularly the standby drain rate.
Good to know this works. Has anyone been able to get an esim activated on Verizon? I have two Verizon lines and would love to use both on my Pixel 3aXL. Verizon chat tells me they only activate esim for iPhones.
To update, when I downloaded and switched to Verizon Messages+, everything works fine (SMS and MMS). That means it probably is not a phone or carrier issue, but is something with Textra. Anyone know of a Textra setting I could try to get SMS and MMS working on the XZ2 Compact for Verizon using...
So I've been able to make and receive calls and texts, but for some reason, I'm not receiving MMS. If someone sends me a picture, the text portion will come through, but not the image. I've tried both Textra and regular Google Messages. Anyone able to help? And by the way, I already tried...
