after looking into this the problems lie with the way the phone gets the time i think its using NITZ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NITZ) so if the carrier does not support NITZ then the phone will not update the time. I think android devices get there time from google services & not NITZ

I had a desire s with gorrila glass and it scratched way to easily for my likeing. it was in my pocket with a rouge 5 pence piece and i was amazed how bad it was scratched. I did wonder if some screens are harder than others ? ie from poor quality control.

Aerial I think you have hit the nail on the head there. unless the defy has suitable aerial which i doubt because you have to use headphone cable for the aerial.Might be wrong thought. hope i am because this was a great feature of nokia's

data manager Hi all, I have check my data manager on this rom and its seems very hi 50mb a day on average. i wonder if anyone else has checked how much data is being used. I only have a weather widget running in the background.

No dont use this app it does not work on defy 2.2froyo and you will have to re-flash rom.

wifi tethering One thing i have forgot about and that was missing from the US rom too was wifi tethering. I know the are a few apps from the market which are free and do the same job.

I had problems booting into recovery. Problem was solved by turning of usb debugging. GPS seems to find sats quicker now. US version of navigation was odd. google called trafic island's road circles. lol Camera works fine.

I can rootthis rom but i cannot get into recovery. only the standard recovery by holding vol up down at the same time. does anyone know which recovery i should use. many thanks Fixed Problem: i still had the phone in usb debugging mode
