    Post [ROM][AOSP][4.4/6.0/7.1] Unlegacy Android Project

I got my maguro back minutes ago, no bootloop at all adding the ro.egl.destroy_after_detach property on UA 4.4 build from 10/24, so sorry for the false alarm. bye yen

    Post [KERNEL] Anykernel

As i remember this post from July: shouldn't safer for now to add the ro.egl.destroy_after_detach property in relevant branch of device tree instead of in stable branch of hardware/ti/omap4? (please note that i can't test it on 4.4 as I'm currently waiting to have my maguro back) Sorry all for...

    Post [KERNEL] Anykernel

Thanks for having tested anyway Nonno Cicala, sadly it seems that memory leaks are really a big problem on tuna. For what is in my experience the ro.egl property slow down system memory increase, but it seems not enough on long term. Thanks again. bye yen

    Post [KERNEL] Anykernel

Nonno Cicala, please can you test on UA 7.1.2 also if adding ro.egl.destroy_after_detach=true property can mitigate memory leaks? I'm using it for some time (on slim7) and it seems having a beneficial effect (thought it not completely solve) for the suspend/waking memory leak. Thanks for all...

    Post [ROM][AOSP][4.4/6.0/7.1] Unlegacy Android Project

If color control is enabled in kernel you should have /sys/class/misc/colorcontrol/multiplier in your tuna. Just to test open a root shell (via adb or a terminal emulator) and run this command: echo "1530000000 1625000000 2000000000" > /sys/class/misc/colorcontrol/multiplier you should see...

    Post [KERNEL] Anykernel

Hello Android-Andi, I saw nailyk saying you on gerrit that he build his los kernel with gcc 4.8 and it works fine. As I've never saw a gcc 4.8 built kernel booting on my maguro in five years I do some test today. He is perfectly right and his los 14.1 build successfully boot on my maguro after a...

    Post [RECOVERY][maguro] TWRP 3.0.0-0 touch recovery [2016-02-06]

Providing the fact that I'm not encrypted I got this in my test builds which are UA 7 based: <5>[ 5.041381] init: Service 'smc_pa_wvdrm' (pid 118) exited with status 0 <5>[ 49.905792] init: Starting service 'tf_daemon'... so it seems that at least init can execute these binaries I'm using...

    Post [RECOVERY][maguro] TWRP 3.0.0-0 touch recovery [2016-02-06]

hello nailyk, the second /data entry (f2fs) you add in twrp.fstab makes /data mounted (and showed) twice in recovery. As I'm not encrypted I can't test further. bye yen
