    Fixed it! Ok I fixed the problem on my phone. I had a hunch that the problem was the "radio ROM" (actually "modem" ROM) wasn't updated correctly, due to the nature of the problem, and the fact that 99% of Moto G5S Plus owners didn't have the same problem.
