Theres no recovery? does this mean that if i get stuck in a bootloop or something goes wrong i wont be able to restore my twrp backup?

My camera button doesn't open the camera app. I know that in stock android there may not be this option, but shouldn't this ROM have it in built since all Xperia z2 devices have a camera button? Does anyone know how I can add this functionality myself?
