I have a 4.4.4 unit. So without sounding like an idiot how do you have it wired? From the units USB to car aux or the units aux cable to cars USB?

I tried to install the 7.1 rom on a avin 4.4.4 unit and it won't go. I attempted both via usb while the device is booted up and also making a flashable sdcard and it just sits at a grey screen. Hopefully someone who knows how to develop roms will jump in because the roms look fairly close in...

Hey make sure you clarify that you installed this new firmware on the new 7.1 unit. I can already see a bunch of people trying to install this on a 4.4 unit and bricking it. Just trying to avoid confusion from people that just glance at the tread and arnt following it.

I have asked several people but no-one is willing to give it at this time .They are still kinda new though so hopefully once more people start receiving them one will slip out.
