On cyanogenmod all i had to do was replace the eri.xml, but now i dont see that on the stock rom, what steps would i have to take to change it on the stock rom?

My phone is a5_chl and running lolipop 5.0.2

I have the a5_chl variant

When i installed it and opened it, it said "Your Kernel Does Not Have init.d Support"
