I love using the Create Pad for note taking while reading (i.e. using Note Saver), but enabling note taking automatically opens the small live preview window in the bottom right of the screen. Is there any way to close, resize or reposition this preview window without stopping note-taking mode...

Yes, the IR transmitter is infrared-based (IR=infrared) and that's how Sony's Remote Control apps works, by sending the right codes via the infrared blaster on the top of the device. As for unlocking the device on its last update, thats incredibly unlikely, but we can always maintain hope :P

I'm pretty sure the only Sony Dev links I've seen were pre-ICS, but if you remember where you saw it, that'd be awesome. I'll have to check it out.

Also, this might just be me, but if you already have a Galaxy Note, a 7" Nexus 7 is probably not the right choice for you. There's only going to be 2 inches of difference between them. This is just my opinion, of course, but make sure you try out a Nexus before you go buying one.

Hi all, Has anyone decompiled the new ICS browser/calculator/remote control apps to work out how the small apps function works? I have a couple of ideas for utilising the small apps, but I've no idea how the function is called or manipulated. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
