You can try to use the "share" dialogue within apps like gallery or file managers/explorers. LocalCast should appear in the list - it does for me in ES File Explorer. I haven't tried if it actually works as not home and only installed Chromecast and LocalCast yesterday, but will try tonight.

Which would be funny if only If the stock 4.3 (unbranded UK version at least) update wasn't so p**s poor and unstable, let alone too long in coming!

I think my recovery is corrupted - had noticed a while back that the dalvik cache appeared to wipe too quickly and wouldn't actually enter recovery from power button reboot menu (had to manually press vol down). I wonder if it's not performing full data wipe easier as now it won't even attempt...

The pdf also states it is for devices with serial no. T0J12WWxxxxx - mine is SXNxxxxxxxxx, with the reset hole on the side as well. I also see that the link is for the US site and there is no mention of ICS on then UK site http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/uk/products/viewpad/viewpad-10e.htm or...

That stopped working for me in CM9. Back button does dismiss the keyboard.

Not to do with am/pm, but just you don't have any notifications to clear so the "clear all" option is not available.
