I found r3 to be better than the r2. Smoother and more conservative in terms of batter. R2 saves battery only when the phone's idling is what I feel. R3 seems to be more intelligent.

Quick and noob-ish doubt (Sorry!): Can I flash this over PA 3.99 without wiping data?

It says permission denied when I click on Install/Update. There is no popup requesting for SuperUser access either. Superuser logs show no requests. Automatic response of SU access is set to Allow. Running JB 4.3 @ PA v3.99 for the Galaxy Note GTN7000.

I feel the r3 is MUCH better than the r2. r2 does give a very good battery save on idle but not otherwise according to 3-4 days of experience on the r2. I'm running AOSP PA 3.97 on the Galaxy Note

I know about that but enabling it disables proper functioning of my Sidebar Plus Beta ;) It closes and makes me feel stupid trying to drag out the Sidebar from the left corner of my screen. -_-

#BugReport When I try to use the search box in the app bar, the search results do come but then the bar only displays the previously searched application even when I clear the field. I have to reset the bar by going to setting and turning off the search field tickbox. ---------- Post added at...

By the way, the invisible status bar icon does become invisible on enabling the option in setting but takes up space in the statusbar. So all my notifcation icons are coming after the invisible icon unlike the old version. Priority issues?
