Yes you could download all the Nokia apps after the update. The whatsapp thing is because is not on the market place at the moment. I was wandering if somebody has the XAP file so we could side load it??? I use whatsapp for work and that is the only reason I have not done this update.

This happened to me before when I upgraded to 12070. It is not this procedure that does it, it's something else. In short if you have your phone network unlocked be sure to keep the unlock code because it will re-lock when you upgrade it or do any work with NSS or NCS. Also when I did this...
