Post [ TF300T ] How to unbrick when wrong recovery menu was flashed.

This worked! I thought I was out of luck. Thanks a lot. I accidentally flashed an incomparable version of twrp. It would only boot straight into recovery and I couldn't get into recovery. TWRP kept asking for a password even though I never set one up and it wouldn't mount the internal...

Got it working using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45120193#post45120193 The only thing different I did was I skipped the "fastboot erase boot" step since I was afraid I would really screw brick my device if I messed up.

I am now able to us adb reboot bootloader to get into fastboot. I tried to fastboot the right recovery and it looked like it worked. it said finished in the command prompt. But nothing seems to happen after that. It seems like it freezes on the tablet. I can force a reboot by holding down...

I am on the 4.2 bootloader. It looks like I accidentally flashed the jb version of twrp. I can't seem to get the driver to work so that adb can recognize it.

I installed the newest twrp using fastboot. Now twrp thinks I have a password when I don't. I tried to format data to fix this but it keeps failing. It wont mount my internal or external storage. The tablet only boots directly into twrp now. I can't get it to boot into the bootloader by...

Post New Google Search 14/11/13 + Google Experience Launcher

So does anyone know if GEL with hotword detection significantly impacts battery life? Does it require special hardware to do it low power? It wont drain power super fast on the Nexus 4 will it?

Does hotword detection on the launcher with GEL consume significantly more battery on the Nexus 4 than using the normal launcher without it? I love it on my Nexus 5 but I don't want to enable it on my wife's Nexus 4 if it will drain her battery fast.

Because it is MMS. MMS compresses the image to crappy quality before sending.

Ok so download 4.2 ROM, flash it in my 4.1 recovery, reboot, then install 4.2 recovery? Or do I download the 4.1 version to match my recovery? I would have to do a software update then after that. Thanks for the help. I just really do not want to brick my device.

When I flash the stock ROM do I need to flash the 4.1 version or the newest 4.2 version? Will flashing the stock ROM also install the newest bootloader? The update is available on the Asus website?

So I didn't realize that there was a change today. I updated from the built in CM updater and now it wont boot. How do i fix it? Edit: OK i booted into recovery and flashed an older version. It sure would be nice if CM could mark incompatible updates. I don't usually check the forums before...
