Post [GUIDE] Manual Oreo update - v190219 - Pie upgrade now supported (Tut #4)

Hi again. Yes, i chose the correct phone model: vtr-l29c432 I previously upgraded from Blackball's v179 rom, which comes with Magisk, to your B360 with no problems. After that upgrade I did not reinstall Magisk or anything else of the kind. The version you used was exactly the version I used...

Post [GUIDE] Manual Oreo update - v190219 - Pie upgrade now supported (Tut #4)

The B365 PV just bricked my phone, updating from B360. During the update, the phone should restart into eRecovery and start the upgrade proces, but eRecovery never started and the phone just hangs. Now I can't get into TWRP because it's not there anymore and I can't boot into Oreo because of...

So erm, which B365 rom did you use?? The only available one is a FullOTA-MF-PV, which you clearly state NOT to use.

That should be possible yes. You can install this rom even if your phone is bricked.

You should get the Oreo update automatically, as well as all future updates. The B180 rom is an original rom from Huawei.

You would have to first make a full backup of your current L29 rom in TWRP. Then, recover your full L09 backup. To backup the oeminfo.bin file, you will have to grab the tool off the internet for that. A quick google search will get you there. After that, recover the full L29 backup you made...

Post Root/Updates/Rebranding/Unbricking - Official FunkyHuawei Support Thread for P10

Why you pose this question in the "official funkyhuawei support" thread is beyond me.... Only thing that comes to mind is: do you have USB debugging enabled in the developers options? It should be enabled if you want to use ADB or Fastboot.

As I cannot judge on the situation from pepe_lodz, as he has his phone from Tmobile, I have repeatedly reported the same issue with my unbranded L09. I did not purchase it from a provider, but from a european Huawei phone reseller, which came with a L09C432 rom. But yes, also I did not do a...

B200 or B201 is also out. Though it only adds 4g calling, which is already included in these recent roms. As far as I know, Funky are the only ones with the Oreo build as of now.

They are saying, if you get Simcard problems after you reband and flash a L09 rom to your phone, try a rebrand to L29 and flash to L29. This does NOT mean rebrand and flash to L29 if you want a working L09 rom.

    Post [GUIDE] Huawei P10 Debrand/Rebrand/Update for Nougat&Oreo "Updated_19.5.2018"

It has been a while since i last flashed an original rom onto my P10. I am using Blackball's P10 rom, which is pretty original. For safety's sake, whenever i wanted to flash a L09 rom, i always made sure i had a L09 version in the HWOTA update directory. If i wanted to flash a L29 rom, i put a...

Your installation steps are correct. To enter TWRP, you hold volume up + power. Let go of power when boot logo appears and let go of volume up when the yellow text appears. Volume down + power is to enter download mode, which only works when a usb cable is attached.
