    Check if you own HTC ChaCha or HTC Status. Because they support different 3G frequencies. 850 vs 900.

    HTC One X I just confirm that this method doesn't work on HTC One X (Original Firmware 4.1.1). Though the phone still works with routers without any problem using new 'wpa_supplicant', but can't see hotspot (in my case: Nokia N900).

    In the phone, open dialer and enter the code. Even though the code did not work for me (Using ICS). I think I should restock the tab.
