I'm sorry about your phone.
I cannot explain exactly what mada my phone revive, but I believe it was some kind of sparkle from a fully charged battery, touching the contacts fast it will give the power to reset some kind of internal switch...
In my case the problem was that the phone didn't switch on al all. (normally when you press the button on the top for about 2secs the red led turns on, in my case the problem was that it never switch on).
This problem happened to me several times. Once I was only able to witch it on connecting the power supply and while pressing the switch button removing and putting the battery again until the led turned on
