Yes, the SD is inserted. The OS is running off the SD card and there appears to be plenty of memory. I'll have to double check that when I get home though.

Amazon.com had a decent selection of accessories for the NC, including cases. I haven't selected on yet but I need to. I never thought of trying a portable DVD player case but the length and width are similar and it leaves room for other things. Good idea.
