Thanks, it seems after all that the issue may not be the cable but issues caused on Android 9 with AA. It seems to crash on OnePlus with Pie. I need to test further with the stock cable though because I'm under the impression that it worked all the times with that one.

I flashed this morning with full wipe and here is my feedback: 1. Calculator, shealth, gear, YouTube, maps don't get installed. 2. Magisk needs to be deselected and installed afterwards (not real problem though) 3. Android auto connects once and then it needs restart in order to connect again...

I solved this by not selecting clean install of magisk so my existing installation remained (in past versions that wouldn't work). However, now i have other problem. Adaway doesn't work. It detects update every single time it runs. Also xposed downloads refresh gives error of file download...
