This is probably a stupid question, but why does it seem like this process has gotten so much harder over the years?? I remember with my old phone, once the bootloader was unlocked, and phone was rooted, I could always load up twrp or whatever, flash a rooted rom, and be set. Now it seems like...

BINGO!! So not sure what part actually did it, but I installed the latest SDK, moved the files there, reran the set-active=a and then ran the flash-all file and I am booted up into the setup screen now Thanks a ton!! :)

Factory image was extracted in a subfolder off of the platform tools: Desktop\pixel2xl\platform-tools\Full OTA\factory\taimen-opm1.171019.018 (ignore that it says OTA) They are up to date as of September when I got the phone, and unlocked the bootloader and correct, I do see a ID number...

Doe anyone know of a way to tweek the recognized songs to make the font bigger/extend more than one line so a long song/band name isnt cut off?

Everyday, the highest usage of my battery is wifi, yet it has always been turned off.. I have verified in multiple menus that its not turned on... Any ideas?
