MusicFX needs to be enabled. However, the method of doing this has changed somewhat recently compared to the method documented on Github. You can try there first.

There's three. You forgot Gentoo (which was the first Linux distro I used after coming from FreeBSD).

Arch produces some of THE best documentation you will find on any open source project. You can look up generic UNIX/Linux questions in Google and they are often at or near the top.

Odd. I was using alpha 4 just fine on nitrogen (7.1 ROM on Shamu), but on moving to ABC ROM (7.0), neither v4a nor Dolby work. I'll see if I can dig a little deeper in the morning.

If something is removed in a later release of ARISE then you either have to dirty flash your ROM or manually remove the cruft.

That setting is part of nougat . It adjusts everything. Works great for me. :good:

EXKM supports loading of profiles. I know the 5X and 6P forums have threads of such things. Perhaps that can be used as a guide.

I believe the OP states you have to be on at least Marshmallow.

I doubt that feature has been added to aosp. Iirc, it was a recent add to Google.
