The edges are rounded and follow the shape of the phone, not sure if that's what you meant. I've had it for a week and carry it in my pocket without a case. No lifting problems yet. I guess time will tell as to how well it holds. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk 4

Not sure if this is already widely known, but discovered that pressing the home button also wakes it up from sleep (like iphone/ipod).
