Hey i dont know if your on but I have the same exact problem as you had here and i need help asap please!
"ok, well i dropped my (4th) G1 in, well, a large bowl of water.... yea, go me, and have dried it out but now the touch screen wont work.... so i was wondering if there was a way to set it up with out "Pressing the android to continue". If not, i was wondering if someone could possibly, and i thank you in advance lol, wipe, flash cyan's 4.1.11.1 and NOT set it up (hence the log in later option) then make a nandroid back up(so i dont have any of your pertinent and/or sensitive information) and send it too me....
i know it's a lot to ask but i just cant afford another G1 right now and its my only means of communication and internet since i tether almost the full 10gig limit t-mobile gives me.
or if someone else has another solution that would be even better. thanks alot guys."
