I had 178 installed on my European C432 yesterday. Can confirm March 2019 security patch with 178. Nobody knows why 178 is more recent than 2xx. Perhaps 178 is some kind of beta and not meant for public release at least for now. Right now I am back on 187 and waiting for 198 push update...........

Yes full wipe as stated in my post by using dload method. Just restore your Huawei Cloud backup and set up your email accounts from scratch and passwords for your apps and powersaving settings for apps.......ouch how I love Apple's icloud backups/restores which restore everything bit by bit.

C432 here too. Did HSTool show "firmware .....208 found" at a certain point in time....after you type "continue"? I guess I started HiSuite as admin which i might have forgotten before. Also downloaded the FW-file one more time from post 1 of this thread.

2nd attempt worked now as supposed to. FW208 with March 1st security patch installed successfully. Don't know what went wrong at 1st attempt.
