I just booted up mine. I seem to run the mirek190 ROM on it currently, but if I remember correctly, supercowz ROM was more stable. Backup your important things and try out the few ROMs that exists. Those I know if is the Mirek190, Supercowz and RemixOS2, but others might exist.

I think it works on the A5C8 model only. Wasn't the A6C7 the one with totally different hardware? A5C8 got intel CPU, if yours doesn't, it won't work. Sorry.

Well, you have a Chuwi Hi8 Pro 32GB and this is for Teclast X98 Plus 64GB. It would be an extremely slim chance that they are compatible. I'd try to find something on the Chuwi forums. https://techtablets.com/forum/forums/chuwi/chuwi-hi8-pro-discussion/ might have something.

Do you have any advice on where to start prying up the screen? I have another problem. The whole area around the volume buttons being sensitive, and touching anywhere near the area will turn down the volume(except for a small, small part of the volume up button) and I think it might just need...
