If your'e using GApps variant there is carrier settings issue in that which will be fixed in the next update..Until then u can use vanilla variant

Clean flash the rom coming from miui.. no issue regarding gcam has yet been encountered

You should ask the lead developer to add it in source

The first issue is not an issue that I faced personally and none of other guys also. 2nd issue is fixed a long time ago.. maybe you should think of clean flashing the rom
