Hello... I've been testing v17 and so far most everything is working. I do have one naive question. Can anyone tell me what the red icon next to the sound icon on the notification bar is for? I attached a picture to show what I am talking about. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

As mentioned previously you have to delete the velvet.apk in system/apps. Don't delete any other files. Reboot fully and then go the play store. Worked fine for me. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

To update Google now you have to delete "velvet.apk" in the system/app folder. After deleting, reboot and go to the play store and you should be all set. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Josh, I for one prefer the jelly bomb theme and accept the branding since it is your work that is being promoted. It reminds me of the work you have done and I appreciate that. I haven't had a perfect experience but I accept the challenges with having to supporting a development ROM. I think...

Okay, so Josh is officially well over 10K thanks. Should there be some kind of celebration? This should prove how valuable he has been to the XDA community. A big thanks to all the hard work. jim

Running the new kernel and saw a huge jump in benchmark scores. I know these are a bit subjective but I was running at 5500 before the kernel update. Hopefully this translates to real world experience. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Yes, you are correct, this works just fines. I was just confirming that there does seem to be a minor issue going straight from the gallery. Again, no concern for me as I like the jellybomb bubbles in the background. So far I'm liking the update. I really like the colors and images. jim

I tried this as well to see if it happened on my phone and I did experience the same result. It FC once you try and select it. I don't really mind as I don't use the function, just wanted to confirm. jim

Josh, Thanks again for the update. I had the issue with gallery but flashed the Zip in the mods folder and it's all fixed now. So far so good. jim
