I have an m3u file, it looks like this: smb://192.168.65.100/Movies/Test File.mkv On my PC, VLC opens it fine and plays the video. On my phone, VLC just says "Unknown Artist" and does nothing. What am I doing wrong here?

You just pull down the quick settings, and slide brightness to the max. Also disable the blue light filter (also from quick settings). You can also go into settings/display and change the screen mode from natural to vivid - it'll make pictures appear to be brighter by artificially boosting...

I like my Axon 7, but I am a bit dismayed that ZTE has not come up with a new phone. I don't need a new phone now, but in 4 to 6 months I may be looking for one. And by then the new OnePlus 5T will be upgraded to Oreo and will have its bugs ironed out... looks to me that'll be my next phone...

I've never felt like the viewing angle needs improvement. But a few times while using the phone outside in broad sunshine I found myself wishing for more brightness.
