It crashes on my clean AICP installation, along with every other camera since I installed the "fix".

Which gcam version did you install? I tried the gcam fix module, but it broke mine. Before, it worked without HDR, but now it doesn't work at all.

A Magisk module to fix the camera libs would be great! Also, I'm having an issue with the AICP updater. After the download, I press "ok" and try to have the ROM installed, but I get a notification saying "Install error". I'm using TWRP 3.4.0.0. How could I get logs for this?

I have the same issue. I can install some gcam, but I cannot use HDR because the application crashes.

Finally, I managed to get a gcam installed, and it works when HDR is disabled. Now, I'm trying to find a solution to enable HDR. I've added persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 to my build.prop, but I dont think it has any effect.

Same here, gcam isn't working. Some versions can be installed, but crash when a picture is taken, and others cant be installed at all. I tried also miui cam (anxcamera), but I cannot install it with Magisk...

I don't know whether the ROM is discontinued or not, but having it used for several months now, I can confirm that its full of bugs (late alarms, screen doesn't light up on notifications, several issues with the GPU driver...) and is pretty much dead. Switch to Syberia for Android 9 or another...

Has anyone successfully overclocked their Redmi Note 7? And by overclocking, I don't just mean changing the CPU governor or setting the minimum CPU frequency to a higher level, I mean pushing the maximum frequency to a higher state. Alternatively, how could I modify the kernel myself to allow...

When going to Settings -> Security -> Google Play system updates, the phone checks for update and then says "Android security update: unknown". Does that mean we don't have access to Google Play's security updates?

letsmakecakes I can confirm what vic97 said: the GNSS "works" but is unusable. There's only 6 satellites in view no matter where I am, and it takes forever to lock to 3-4 of them.
