    Post Root for NK1 Kitkat 4.4.4 ?????

En11gma, this is good to hear. Did the ODIN flash downgrade preserve root for you when you went from LP to KK?

Post Back to 4.4.4 from Lollipop

This may have been answered earlier, and I just missed it: does this ODIN back to NK1/NJ6 from OF1 preserve root? If so, then I may jump back to KK, as LP has a few... features... which I don't prefer.

    Post Root n900v 5.0 of1 one click

Glad to hear it, Yacdogg and Ellises! Now that you're rooted, you can install any ROM which is based on the stock Samsung TouchWiz ROM (since the bootloader is still locked). I installed JasmineROM, following these instructions: How to install Jasmine Rom 6.1(as stock rom) on Verizon note...

Post From yemen the root of Note 3 N900V Verizon Lollipop OF1 is ready. Enjoy

Thank you, elliwigy! You've been very helpful in helping me figure out this beast that is Knox. And I suppose it doesn't matter now that I bought outright -- it was more than a year ago anyway. :sly:

Post From yemen the root of Note 3 N900V Verizon Lollipop OF1 is ready. Enjoy

I don't mean to barge in, but I also am wondering this. Is Knox tripping only important/relevant if I wish to maintain warranty status (e.g. if I need to send in my device to Samsung for warranty-covered repairs)? I purchased my phone outright, and therefore I believe the warranty is void in my...

Post Note 3 won't connect to PC, Kies 3 installed and everything

Hey all, Verizon Note 3 user here (recently updated from 4.4.4 NK1 to 5.0 OF1 and about to root). After browsing for a solution to this problem among XDA'S Verizon section to no avail, I came here. Here is what worked for me: • Access 'USB Connections mode' menu and enable MTP or PTP ▪...

Post Back to 4.4.4 from Lollipop

It's possible that your friend's phone _looks_ like a Verizon Note 3, but is actually a clone instead, like this one: If such is the case, then perhaps the clones can be rooted, but that is neither here nor there for us true N900V owners. A quick web search got me a brief list of clones...

Post V3.90 Debloater(Lets remove all that carrier bloat !! Root not required..)

Suppose that this program's source were to be made public; gatesjunior, do you believe it could be found by 'the wrong people', who would then work to remove the process by which DeBloater is so sucessful, and thereby render it ineffective? *COUGH*SAMSUNG*COUGH* I'm just hypothesizing over...

    Post Root for NK1 Kitkat 4.4.4 ?????

I found this article today. Do you suppose this info could be useful in gaining root? Excerpt: Stagefright Bug 2.0 — One Billion Android SmartPhones Vulnerable to Hacking How Stagefright Bug 2.0 Works Both newly discovered vulnerabilities (CVE-2015-6602 and CVE-2015-3876) also reside in the...

Post [Q] sm-n900v Lollipop ROOT Question

Post [Q] sm-n900v Lollipop ROOT Question

I third this. FoxFi works on my Note 3 running 4.4.4, non-rooted. And yes, davekaz is right about the time limitation. Without a license, FoxFi turns off hotspot after five minutes. With license, the time limitation is removed.
