Post [JB] CM10 Android 4.1.2 for the Defy(+)

Thank you YetAnotherForumUser, and others that have been providing useful tips/commands/logs like this. It's been a real pleasure to follow this thread the last few days, with the exceptions of a few post it looks like this is finally turning into a real development tread. I'm currently on...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

Yes, it happened 3 times, I will try once more just to be sure. Not that it really is a problem, because my phone is working fine without using the baseband switcher app. Edit: apparently you're right, I guess it has something todo with the combination of restoring phone settings and then...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

If you would have read Masamune_2k's comment, instead of just immediately ranting around, you would know that your post is completely useless. He didn't have any battery drain, or hot phone issues (or he wasn't complaining about that anyway). The problem he described was that com.android.phone...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

I have had the same problem a couple of times with several versions of CM. It happens if I use the Defy Baseband switcher applications. I've had it on freshly flashed ROM's where i wiped everything, so i doubt it is a setup problem. Anyway, i found a way to fix it without reflashing...

    Post Changing bootloader: dead Defy

If you managed to do dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk1p1 shouldn't you also be able to dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p1 of=~/bootloader.img ? and if someone can do that and send you the image, shouldn't you also be able to repair your phone? And why would you try anything like that anyway...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

As far as I know there's only one thing missing from this ROM (as far as functionallity goes) and that's: - Microphone when the speakerphone is not working. When this is fixed I think Quarx can make the next version RC (as long as no new bugs appear) wvga and 720p are indeed some nice extra's...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

I wouldn't count on that too much. Mine worked fine for more than 3 months, no cracking no problems whatsoever. And then al of a sudden my earpiece stopped working. (I was on a skiing trip, so maybe the temperature had something to do with it, or maybe I fell on it.) I was quite sure that I...

Post Defy earpiece begining to fail (T-mobile US)

I have the broken earpiece problem too. My Defy is from December last year, and it broke just last week. I haven't returned it yet, because I need to try to put the original firmware back (and the weather has been to great here the last few days to be inside behind a computer :)) Should I be...

    Post [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7.2.0 (Android 2.3.7)

[Sorry for polluting this thread, it seems that abhi.eternal started his own thread after I replied. I will repeat my answer there] You do realise that Cyanogen is creating his ROM in is spare time, and that asking something like this is actually really rude. CyanogenMod is a community...

Post [ROM] Barebones - CM7 - Motorola Defy

Hey, fritolays Thanks for this great ROM, works really good! I have two small issues: - There is only the QVGA setting for the video recorder. - This morning the time in the statusbar didn't update, same for the time on the locksreen. When unlocking en locking again the time would be set to...

Post [ROM] CyanogenMod - No, you can't have a pony (STABLE) [UPDATED 03/04 - v4.2.15.1]

Hi, I've got some bad news for you, the Macgic sold by proximus is a 32A not the 32B wich is supported by cyanogen. This is what you should have done: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4666269&postcount=1286 Anyway now that you now that you own a 32A you can start looking into it...
