    Post On the Fence

Just picked up two N7's last night. Immediately did a full data reset and did not restore from backups, but installed everything fresh. Thus far, I'm thrilled with my N7 as is my wife. I've been using the phone for most of the day, tweaking things, installing apps, and playing around. I...

Post Samsung halting shipments of Note 7

And I was hoping to pick up two Note 7's this coming weekend... so much for that! Here's my take. Remember some of the crap with Apple iPhones? Bendgate? Antennagate? Did Apple ever have the balls to acknowledge their issues, much less take the huge step of recalling devices, fixing...

Thread [Q] Upgrade Path from 10b rooted/stock to latest rooted?

Hi all, been out of touch but would like to get onto the latest & greatest. Can someone please point me in the right direction for what it'd take to get from 10b rooted but otherwise stock, to the latest Vzn release that's rooted? Mostly I just want to verify if I must upgrade to an...

    Post First steps...

I feel your pain!!! My Samsung 64gb MicroSD also took a dump, when I removed it from my GS3. Went through the fuster-cluck as you, taking a fresh TB snapshot and everything. Thank goodness for FolderSync, which I use to back up my photos to the cloud, else I'd have been SERIOUSLY PISSED!

Post [Q] WiFi and 4G both on simultaneously?

Because they're "independent" of one another, icons for both will appear, instead of the wifi icon "replacing" the 4G/3G icon. I was used to the same behavior, also coming from the Galaxy S3. On one hand, it's more specific but on the other hand, wastes more space.

Just tested mine & it syncs fine to my work exchange server.

Post Woohoo! We got our own section, post your first impressions here!

Wife went into the Verizon store while I was at work, and picked up two LG G3s to replace our Galaxy S 3's. Just finished rooting with IO Root, installing Titanium, and giving this thing a whirl. So far, I'm really loving the screen and the feel and size of the phone. No heat issues here...

Post Towelroot and Foxfi working with the VZW G3?

I just went though that headache of getting the RSA prompt up and running. Just kept unplugging and replugging back into my PC, switching to Internet, then toggling between other options. Eventually it came up. IO Root just completed. Yay!

    Post Verizon LG G3 Thread

Sprint also surprised folks and is now selling the phone outright, starting today. Check the other Sprint thread. Seems you can even use their availability tool online to see which local corporate stores have it in stock. I plan on going into enemy territory today to compare the G3 to the...

Post [Device is unlocked][Video Added] Bootloader Unlock Tool Released [25.7.2012]

Just wanted to post & confirm that I was just successful in unlocking my Infinity's bootloader. I was on stock JB 4.1.1, having rooted prior in ICS.

Post More Ram Being Used. How much Ram is your infinity using.

Android & Windows utilize RAM differently. While you want to keep more free in Windows, free RAM matters much less in Android. The OS intentionally loads up apps & consumes occupies RAM. I can dig up some technical articles explaining this id you don't want to believe me.

    Post JB is out

All this means is that Android OS is populating the Dalvik cache. Nothing new or special with this.
