My suggestion is to start flashing the ftf bundle and see if this solves the problem. If problem remains I recommend starting with a 2.1 ROM. It‘s a lot more complex to root the stock 2.3 ROM than 2.1. Then follow the guide in the OP. Sent from my X10i using XDA App

I guess you have upgraded from a 2.1 ROM, and you have not flashed the ftf bundle with the right baseband and kernel. Then you end up with cyclic reboots. Pls read the first post. Sent from my X10i using XDA App

Any news on this issue? I have noticed the same problem occasionally. This is quite annoying since you don't always notice the problem before you have missed a number of emails for instance (push service). I'm running latest version with hotfix on top.

Hm. Sounds like we have an issue here. Until zdzihu or someone else looks into this I don't recommend anyone to bet too much on a nandroid backup with Gingerbread involved...:(
