Xiaomi Mi 4c (2/16gb) here, same issue not being able to select higher than 720p60 if the video is in 60fps. 30fps will display at up to 1080p (max native resolution). The thing I find real annoying is that this has only begun to occur as of updating to 12.14.56

The OTG cable has been tested to work (Nexus device and Xperia) and the adapter works for data sync. I have only tried with USB though, so that might be the issue

I'm pretty sure it's because USB type C and USB type A use different lanes/wires (physical) for transferring data and the adapter links up different ones. That's just the standard I'm afraid.

I've been looking around for an OTG cable that will work with my Mi 4c and haven't got any guarantees from any I've viewed that it will work with Mi 4c. I know for sure the 4c supports OTG. Does anyone know of a cable that works?
