Well sure, it could be a coincidence :) But I tried to update the normal way a sec. before doing the method on the blog and it didnt work... So it might be that MS pushed the update to my phone about 2 minutes later or it might have something to do with the flight mode...

OMG guys! It worked but a little bit different :D I folowed the instructions on the blog but: -I shut down zune -Turned off the phone and connected it (while off) to the pc -phone starts on itself -then I went to settings and turned the flight mode ON As soon as I did it Zune started...

This looks like most of these apps are form t-mobile and some samsung ones. The t-mobile apps suck though :D Only the navigation app is good but you can only use it with a t-mobile sim inside...:(

If you have omnia 7 then you could flash the newest firmware und it'll become unbranded. I did the same a week ago and now my omnia is t-mobile crap free :D

I wrote it in the other thread... but I had this problem too and after I flashed the newest firmware it was gone. Now the screen responds perfect no matter where I place the phone. You should check the thread with omnia firmware out ;)

All omnia 7 phones in germany are from t-mobile and therefore unlocked. The only branding they have is a splashscreen and t-mobile search in the ie. You can flash a new rom though and it will be completely unbranded. I dont know the exact prices right now but it should cost around 520-590€. Hope...

Hi guys! I flashed the phone last night and love having no t-mobile crap :D One thing that I noticed after the update is that the touscreen responds perfectly now when placed on a soft surface... Before the update it acted weird but now it works as if it was in a hand. The only negative thing...

They are all t-mobile branded in Germany... T-mobile is also (officially) exclusive retailer here.

Hi guys! Quick question about the ROM here: If I flash the german 16gb t-mobile omnia with the latest ROM will I be able to update the phone whenever MS releases the update? And if the phone would become "unbranded" after the flash? I'm wondering about the whole update process and how it is...
