I'd say we got our answer today. No promotion of its official release, which was awfully quiet. No LTE.

None of these responses really make any sense... Sony is operating their mobile division at a loss. They want to compete with the big 2 (Samsung and Apple) in releasing a product, the XZ, that is in line w/ the Galaxy S line and iPhone. But because it is too difficult, they will sacrifice one...

Interestingly, there is an NDTV article just released that reports 4.6 million potential XZ sales. So maybe I'm wrong and they do know what they're doing =D Although, it remains to be seen how it will fair against the One and GS4 which will hit the world market soon.

Unless they somehow release an XZ on steroids to the US... But with next to no marketing, nor word about the US market, I think Sony has missed their chance at grabbing the attention of its US consumers w/ their flagship before Samsung and HTC comes in. Sure, people like you and I who follow...

Completely agree w/ this. I can see it being useful if you have one very important widget on the main lockscreen, but beyond that it's a pain b/c you can simply enter your PIN or unlock to access the rest of your widgets on your home screen. I am wondering, is this a bug? My navigation bar is...

Mine beats my old Galaxy Nexus by a good deal, didn't last a full day after the first full charge, but just wait for 4.2 final, we should get superior battery to the competition!

Ordered 2 x 8gb Nexus 4's b/c 16gb was sold out, got them in the mail yesterday but both were 16gb. Went back to check the charge on my card ($647.87). Putting one up for a profit on eBay.
