This is for sure a catastrophic event. I am running CM14.1 since the first nightly and I never ever had a neither single purple screen of death nor a SOD. Phone is smooth and I constantly reach 3.5h SOT. I am really sad...Anyway, thank you myfluxi!

Regarding battery life I noticed that limiting CPU frequency to 1958mhz and GPU to 389mhz greatly improves battery life.
