I had the same problem, flashed 7.4 975 and it booted ok.

7.4 works fine for me at stock frequencies. Once I go over my phone locks up and reboots.

Is v9 deodexed?

For me, I just had to clear some space from my sd card.

I punched it in and the number disappeared when I hit the last * but then nothing happened...

Yeah I think it's 2.2... I can't find anything on the internet with the diag codes for froyo either, and I like it too much to downgrade just for the banner.

Yes I am on Froyo. Is there anyway to get into diag mode or am I stuck with the Sprint banner?
