Btw, not all sd cards are alike. The ones who are complaining about Froyo running slowly off the sd card are probably not using a fast enough sd card. I suggest getting the Transcend 8 gb class 6 microSDHC card. I'm getting 13 MB/s write and 15 MB/s read speeds which is above class 10 specs.

If you write a new image to the sdcard, then yes it will erase everything on the card. Just get another sdcard or backup your Froyo one to your computer.

I'm running Froyo off the SD. Every since I've done that, I noticed that power cord never turns green when charging is finished at 100%. Has anyone else run into this problem as well?

I'm still running into this issue as well. I tried setting it to Tmobile after clearing the data as well as the cache and rebooting. Setting it to Verizon doesn't seem to be working either.

Has anyone tried burning the images to the uSD while it is inside the Nook Color and connected to your computer via usb? I don't have an external reader with me and I was wondering if doing things this way is even possible. Would it mess anything up in the Nook?
