I'm having the same issue. Freshly rooted running pure nexus 5.1.1 I'm not using Xposed either. Don't know about overclocking or undervolting either

Won't Sprint see that the phone was tampered with? everyonce in a while when I unplug the phone from the comp it shows the bootloader screen with just RUU in orange but at the top it says tampered and relocked.

Nah, renaming and trying to reboot into bootloader didn't work, I'm headed to my friends now to try the windows RUU method

I tried running RUU from there and I get: $ sudo ./fastboot flash zip RUU.zip error: cannot load 'RUU.zip' I tried your second method and got the serial number and rebooted back to that same black screen.

It just reboots to the black screen with the 4 triangles.

$ sudo ./adb reboot-bootloader error: device not found Nope, no dice. Any other way to possibly boot? edit, I unplugged the phone from the computer and I got the bootloader screen with the triangles on the bottom corners. All that is available is RUU highlighted in orange.

Everything is out to sabotage this process, I got the 4GB SD card started the process all over again, got to the RUU install, had 2 run it again, and Linux shuts down and reboots (happens more when I use Skype but wasn't on) right in the middle of the install, now theres a screen with the silver...

i made a backup of the rom before I tried the SuperCID, could I just restore of the backup?
