Well, when I updated to JB with a locked bootloader and lost root, JB wasn't all that great: still some ANRs and a lot of lag. I just recently unlocked, regained root, and installed all my mods: since then JB really is a godsend. Browser is ridiculously quick and scrolling is unbelievable...
