Weird, around 30% drain over night still. Google play services looks suspicious.

Gmail and Zoho mail. Had a lot of Google services before but it looks normal now. On stock global miui. Down to 58% now 12h in, 4h sot, podcast in pocket, some browsing, some YouTube, a little gaming. All on WiFi.

Everything that had miui in its name except game boost and sms I think.

Still on 77% after ~8 hours. Think it's safe to say debloat did the trick for me.

80 to 18% over night, podcast on for a few hours while I slept. Had the same, but not this bad, problem with my Redmi note 4 which was solved by using anything but MIUI so hope the stable roms start to show up here soon. Just ran the debloat tool, hope it helps. Edit: Quick update. It seems to...

I've been playing around for a few days now to find a good balance between battery and a good performance. LineageOS 14.1 with Vulcan kernel, currently at 8h SOT with 35% battery left. I usually just install a kernel and let it run on defaults so still learning what things do.

All right, good to know! I think some of my failures might be caused by the temp dropping the last couple of days, so my fingers are kinda dry. I'm not sure if that is a real thing though :P

Did you change anything with the wake gestures? I might imagine this but it feels a bit less responsive, I have to tap away on that screen 4 - 6 times before it wakes up sometimes.

It have not happened again, so I'm not sure what that was. It did happen twice and after the first time I flashed the kernel again to be sure I did it right.

Nope, no kernel control app. I just rebooted and it works again so I'll leave it alone for a bit to see if it happens again.

I lost the doubletap2wake/sweep2wake, worked straight after boot but no more. Was this to expect? Saw you mention some problem there earlier.

I never cared about flashing kernels before, but I've been following this thread and it's pretty exciting to see where you take it, because I don't really know what to expect. :p So, just saying thanks I guess! Keep it up! :good:
