In sorry to hear that, it's a very annoying problem, I managed to solve this with a new adapter, but at this point I think that I'm lucky... Somebody tried a modded ROM, to test if the issue is still present? I'll try to ask on Xiaomi.eu thread if they can fix this...- Bygepp

In any case, is not a serious problem, a good adapter cost about 5 dollars, and probably is better then the original one (original adapters often aren't so good). I think that the missing notifications on status bar is a most serious problem...- Bygepp
