Post Google Pixel Slate. Possible Replacement?

Found this feedback on LectureNotes on Pixel Slate: https://support.google.com/pixelslate/thread/869548?hl=en ; quoting: "LectureNotes run as slow as molasses to be unusable." As far as I understand, to make things nice and smooth on the Slate, the app has to use a different, low-level API...

Post LectureNotes - S-Pen App with fast dev. speed

acadoid: I do understand that, and I have no problem with it. My concern is just that the _message_ is distracting for people watching my videos. Disabling it, or having something a bit more discreet (a red circle in a corner of the screen) would really help. Thanks!

acadoid So what about an option to disable the message? Thanks!

Any other feedback, especially on note taking? acadoid: do you know if LectureNotes works on it?

Hello Markus acadoid I've been using LN to record my classes during the Apocalypse, and because my Galaxy Note 12.2 crashes at random intervals (once every hour), I've set auto-save to 1 minute. The trouble is, the message "auto-saving" has a tendency to appear where I'm currently focusing, and...

What's all that nonsense? Is this related to ghost's work?

    Post [ROM][PORT][7.0][A310F] Advanced Three v4.0

Oy! Great rom, works like a charm, flashed on top of CM 14. As for "debloated", there's still a heavy load of apps I don't care about and cannot remove (Samsung Internet, really?). Is there any way I can uninstall these? Thanks, cheers!

My, Markus, that would be amazeballs. Thanks for your great support!

Why is that? LN could store a file in /files/ describing the notebook board, if the problem revoles around memory sharing among processes. It seems to be an easy and efficient fix for a problem that more and more of your customers will have. Lovely, thanks!

(Sorry for the delay) Ah, I see. If I go in `/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.acadoid.lecturenotes/files` and do a `find . -type d`, it does take about 7 seconds, which is already quite a lot. You mention, however, that you want LN to dynamically add folders; well wait a second, people actually...

Ahah, but this *is* a great feature, Markus! :) And to me, it only has this very small problem that could be circumvented simply by moving the check to the opening of the notebook :) Pretty please? Cheers; M.

This definitely is not a possibility, this really goes against having folders in a first place; again, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one in that situation (though maybe an extreme case), don't underestimate the popularity of your product :D Also, I believe the check is done too when...

Post LectureNotes - S-Pen App with fast dev. speed

acadoid: Thanks for the prompt answer again! My workflow really requires to jump from notebooks to notebooks, based on collaborators, project, type of work, etc. I use at least 30 different notebooks per week, and they are arranged in thematic folders that themselves contain a few other...

acadoid: But I *do* want to display the board as a tree. How come displaying a hundred lines takes so long? Especially since there's no extra information in the tree. Is there some kind of preloading of the notebooks? I'd rather deactivate that if it's the case :) —apart from that, any...

Hi there acadoid, thanks for the prompt reply, as usual :) They are arranged in folders and I have some 164 of them. Again, if you don't mind, here's a video of the thingy (let me know when you've seen them so that I can trash them): http://michael.cadilhac.name/private/ln2.mp4 ; the ls -laR...
