It happened to me before once ot twice too. I think it is tied to a problem with touch while receiving calls that has it's own discussion on the Sony forums. I captured a screenshot of the problem occuring. (touch was not working until i restarted the screen)

I have tested my SIM now on 2 other phones and it works just fine. I also contacted my carrier and they reconfigured my number in their system(something like a reboot for your number). Now I'm 100% sure it's the phone's fault. Sony needs to at least acknowledge it.

twrp is touch driven so should be easier to use and in cwm (but it probably was some kind of custom/old version) i haven't seen an option to wipe dalvik cache. And if you install cm with it's own kernel you get cm recovery(not cwm but cm!) but it's very easy to install twrp via app in play store...

you shouldn't use enfiar or stryfles cause they are based on cm12.1 and on my xperia m were very messed up, try a clean CM12.1 it is still a nightly (beta) but is suitable for a daily workload. Every problem you have with it should be fixed fast because nighlies have a something like a daily...

FIXED IT!! So for everyone who's looking for answer to this problem here's the fix: after cm flashes and turns off, hold VOL+ button to go to recovery instantly then wipe cache and dalvik, flash gapps, again wipe cache and dalvik reboot. For me it worked.

i specially wrote this thread with extra simplicity, but you didn't read that it's working after full wipe, i'm trying to install update AND save my data. read before you post and try to get some easy thank points or whatever this forum has somewhere else.

my own idea so, now i have restored my backup and when i have some free time i'll try to install fresh cm without gapps and update it a few versions, if it'll work problem solved. i will have to just clear cache and dalvik after every update and flash gapps. I only want to ask, if it will work...
