Post Does wifi calling work on T-mobile?

Got it yesterday and can confirm that yes, wifi calling does work on t-mobile out of the box.

Post Does wifi calling work on T-mobile?

Perfect. Placing order now. My Nokia 6.1 has been a trooper for the last couple years, but I could definitely do with an upgrade - especially with updates ended and patches ending soon.

Post Does wifi calling work on T-mobile?

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Did you have to do anything special to get it working, or did it just work out of the box?

Thread Does wifi calling work on T-mobile?

I know in the past, the only way to get wifi calling on T-mobile was to buy the phone directly from them with the feature pre-installed. Unfortunately, T-Mobile isn't selling the 4a, so that's not an option. Can anyone confirm or deny whether wifi calling works (or can be made to work) with a...

Thread Possible to extract SMS messages from a RAZR maxx with a broken display?

My friend desparately needs to extract the SMS log from his razr maxx. Unfortunately, he dropped it and the display is completely broken. The phone is unrooted and USB debugging is not enabled. The phone seems to be functional other than the display - the softtouch buttons light up and when...

Post [Q] So are we all keeping our A700, or are we sending them back to Amazon?

Mine is staying. I have no display bleeding or discoloration issues, and while it does get warm, it's never been hot enough to worry me. I don't do much cpu-intensive gaming. The only serious complaint I have is the input lag/insensitivity, and that will (hopefully) get sorted out with a...

    Post [Q] CIFS Manager compatibility?

No joy. Stuck the file where it wanted it, but I'm still getting "no such device".

Post My A700 Review: Pros, Cons, & Heat

That probably won't do it. Most HD video is h.264, and the tegra3 has dedicated hardware to handle that. You'd have to use some pretty crappy video software that didn't use hardware acceleration in order to stress the CPU.

    Post [Q] CIFS Manager compatibility?

Thank you. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it.

    Thread [Q] Input Sensitivity Adjustment?

Is there any way to raise the touch input sensitivity? My A700 seems to miss quick taps, requiring at least half a second worth of tap to reliably register the input. Can this be changed?

    Post [Q] CIFS Manager compatibility?

Is this something that requires recompiling the whole kernel, or can you load the module into CIFS manager separately? If you manage to compile the module, can you post it here?

    Thread [Q] CIFS Manager compatibility?

Just got my A700 and it appears the kernel is not CIFS-compatible. I understand there are modules which can be used with CIFS Manager to make it work with non-compatible kernels. Does anybody know if one exists that will work with the A700?

Post [Suggestion] "Off-brand" Android Phone and Tablet Forums

Just to clarify, it would be a space for your Coby and other low-volume devices as well. It should be easier for you to find coby-specific posts there though.

Thread [Suggestion] "Off-brand" Android Phone and Tablet Forums

It seems like there are a dozen new Android phones and tablets coming out every week from unknown manufactures. Most of these are cheap Chinese devices, but they're not all junk, and smaller manufacturers from other countries get thrown into the mix as well. Right now, any discussion of these...

Post Android is starting to become a pain in my ass for this reason.

Did you even read the article? Google can't do anything about it. The carriers have created a situation where a ROM cannot be created without them signing the phone apk. In other words, your verizon nexus already isn't AOSP because some of its core functionality is reliant on custom, locked...
